A House in the Country is a family owned and operated business based in northern California. In business since 1984, we've enjoyed great success with our extensive line of decorative accessories. In the mid 80's we pioneered the clean, casual unframed art look. Today we still offer our very popular unframed art to catalogs, retailers, decorators, and designers in the wholesale market worldwide. Recently we've upgraded our printers with brand new technology which produces a much richer printed image. We've also switched to all archival fine art canvas for all of our art. Our new processes and canvas give even our original best sellers a fantastic new look. Most of our art is the work of our company's founder and owner, Josephine Amerigian. Other pieces include licensed work, masterpieces, and "found treasures". New for 2009/2010 is our new "Brocante" shop in Point Arena, California, where you'll find a wonderful collection of art and decorative accessories.
